Pick Me Up Pendant - Sterling Silver and 9ct Gold – Simon Barber

This striking Pick Me Up pendant is handmade by Irish jeweller Simon Barber and is part of his collection “A Balancing Act”. It symbolise both strength and fragility in a relationship. Simple shapes combine to produce dynamic effects in this playful pendant. It has an original three dimensional design with an embellished disc picked up and suspended between two silver rods. We love the contrast of textures and colours created by the polished silver, dark oxidized silver and shiny 9ct gold disc. A really unique statement piece to cherish for many years to come.

Simon Barber is a fifth generation jeweller from Co. Cork (Ireland). It’s in the family workshop that Simon honed his skills alongside his father Dermot. He has created his own unique style of jewellery which is inspired by a love of the natural world, with its wealth of textures and shapes. Also inspired by the stories of the past that live on the landscape in crumbling ruins and ancient woodlands, Simon brings his own story capturing his love of Ireland past, present and future.
